A wedding of two halves
At least one thing good has come out of the hardship of the recession – and that is that more and more people are doing their weddings for themselves and that means they are more creative and unique. No two weddings are ever the same but Helen and Ade’s is certainly one I’ll never forget. “Part 1” – the official wedding for close family at Middlethorpe Hall Hotel in York was beautiful, intimate and traditional. “Part 2” at Hulmes Vale Farm Cottages in Tideswell was held outdoors in the blazing sun and indoors in a flower-filled marquee and Moroccan-style tent. Clothes were 1920s, speeches were raucous and dancing was like there’s no tomorrow. A special, heart-felt ceremony followed by loads of fun. What could be better?
