I hope you enjoy looking through my wedding photography portfolio – a selection of pictures from various weddings which should give you an idea of my style. I photograph each wedding in a way which reflects the unique couple getting married and merge a reportage style of candid, relaxed photography with some more creative editorial style shots – this comes from my background working as an artist and photojournalist. I also listen to what each couple wants for their own day and blend into the background or take control as required.
I’ve photographed weddings and civil ceremonies in Sheffield, Liverpool, Bristol and London; fields, farms, woods, tiny back yards, beaches and barns; churches, temples and cathedrals; hotels, hostels, teepees and tents; Spain, Italy and Croatia. It may sound cheesy or insincere but I really mean it when I say that it’s been an honour and a pleasure to be a part of every one – no wedding or people even nearly the same – and to get to know couples at such a special time in their lives.
How do you know who is the right wedding photographer for you? Well, I think you need to look through the portfolios of a few different photographers and see which styles you really like. Obviously budget is a consideration for most of us but your photographer only gets one shot at this (no pun intended) so make sure you get someone who has plenty of experience and has the images to prove it. You should also meet up before you commit as you’ll probably be spending a good deal of the day together so see how you get on and click.
Thanks for looking at my wedding photography portfolio!
